This meetings agenda will include:

§         7:00 pm to 7:30 pm – beverage and general discussion; order your food.

§         7:30 pm – Formal adoption of the new name

§         7:40 pm — A brief update from the Chairman of the Board on incorporation of the CSCA

§         7:50 pm – announcement and discussion of the “NEW” XPRIZE Competition. (XPRIZE will announce on the same day as our meeting a new space prize challenge. The prize will be in the “10’s of millions of dollars representing the most significant private sector manned spaceflight challenge to date. We will discuss its relevance to Canada and what the CSCA may be able to do to help Canadian competition in this new prize challenge. (Note — the first XPRIZE was a major PR success and jump started an industry. This prize is already funded and backed by a Fortune 500 company).

§         8:15 pm  — Brian Feeney will table a key update list of notable progress by private space companies and government supported private space initiatives worldwide. These items will be discussed in the context of CSCA program objectives and initiatives with a view to developing an end of year through 2008 activities program for the CSCA

§         9:00 pm (approx.) – General business put forward by the members followed by meetings end.

CSCA regular meetings take place at Scallywags, 11 St. Clair West, in the private room on the second floor, beginning at 7pm. Meetings are called to order at 7:30pm and when speakers are booked, the presentation begins at 8 pm sharp.

Scallywags is right around the corner from St. Clair subway station, so that is your best way to get there, on the south side of St. Clair about 10 meters from Yonge Street. Parking is $1.50 per 1/2 hour in that area. The closest lot is at 21 Pleasant Blvd.
