|Michelle Mendes – Director, President & CEO
Michelle strategically and collaboratively engineers excellence in business. Her corporate, legal and finance background have made her a leader in competitive global commercial space and innovation. Since joining the CSCA in 2014, she has been growing the Association, enriching its programs, improving the Canadian space ecosystem and being the voice of commercial space in Canada. She is a Member of the Space Advisory Board, sits on the Boards of MaxQ Canada, Women in Aerospace and SpaceApps Canada and serves on Committees of the International Astronautical Federation. Michelle holds an MBA in Space Commerce, a Bachelor of General Studies from Simon Fraser University and holds several other professional designations.

|Dr. Yaroslav “Yarko” Pustovyi – Director & Acting Chair of the Board
Dr. Pustovyi was part of the first astronaut group selected by the National Space Agency of Ukraine (NSAU). In 1997 he served as a backup payload specialist for the STS-87 Space Shuttle Columbia flight. He is a co-founder and Vice President of Space 1 Systems Inc.
|Baron Stuart Crane of Cluny – Director
Stuart G. Crane of Cluny is the principal of Baker Crane Private Clients LLC . He is a qualified business advisor who has spent over 25 years advising Private & Corporate Clients to which he provides a wealth of business knowledge and experience. He is a Qualified Accountant with a Public Practicing Certificate and is a Fellow of the Institute of Financial Accountants; Fellow of the Faculty of Tax Advisors; Registered Trust and Estate Practitioner; Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and Business Advisor. Stuart runs this Private Advisory firm headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland with offices and subsidiaries in the Isle of Man and England and with further representation in Spain and Panama. He has been providing professional services to clients like regulated and licensed businesses and to his special interest, not-for-profit organizations. His strength in a variety of specialty fields has provided not-for-profit organizations with critical strategic planning, developing them ahead of the curve while remaining compliant and providing innovative solutions to boost growth.
|Marc Boucher, is the founder of SpaceQ Media, a new media company providing news, analysis and intelligence products. Boucher discovered his entrepreneurial roots in the early 90’s and created Canada’s first national Internet directory and search engine which was subsequently licensed to AOL Canada and Sympatico in the mid-90’s. His passion for space, combined with his business skills, enabled him to pursue the creation of U.S. based SpaceRef Interactive in 1999, a network of popular space news websites including NASA Watch. Boucher has been a co-founder of several not-for-profit organizations including the CSCA, where he has served as Executive Director/CEO.
|Wilfred So is a patent agent with the intellectual property group of the Blakes, Cassels and Graydon Law Firm with a technical background including electrical, software, biomedical and mechanical fields, plus the integration of multidisciplinary systems.
|Andrej Litvinjenko, Vice President, Public Policy and Global Affairs
Andrej develops the CSCA’s advocacy strategy and products, including position papers, budget consultations, and updates on the health of Canada’s commercial outer space sector. He works closely with Members to identify and understand the policy and regulatory challenges and opportunities they encounter, allowing him to better represent their interests before Parliamentary Committees, in consultation documents, and at industry conferences. His research has been published in multiple academic journals, including with Princeton and San Diego Universities.He brings to the CSCA nearly a decade of government and industry experience. He previously served as Advisor to the Parliamentary Chair of the Aerospace, Space, and Cleantech Caucuses and most served Industry Canada as an Innovation Analyst. He holds graduate degrees in Economic Policy and Political Science from the Norman Paterson School and Carleton University, respectively. He recently earned his law degree cum laudefrom the University of Ottawa and is completing his Articles of Clerkship with Norton Rose Fulbright Canada LLP.Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
|Alec Wenzowski , Vice President, Development and Partnerships. Alec spearheads our commercial development and partnerships with external stakeholders. He also has worked to streamline our operations, maximize data retention and other efficiencies to the benefit of the Association. He is on the organizing committee of the Canadian SmallSat Symposium.|
|Kevin Ellis, Vice President Marketing and Communications CSCA, Lead Counsel Archtop Strategic Communications Inc.
Through this executive volunteer position, Kevin actively supports the CSCA’s public engagement through its portfolio of strategic activities including branding, advertising, digital, social events and ongoing communications efforts. A veteran strategic communicator, he also also lead counsel at strategic communications firm Archtop Strategic based in Toronto. Kevin has supported the growth of entrepreneurs, innovators and thought leaders from global tech leaders working at c (the speed of light), to natural resource leaders working thousand of feet underground. He has served industry associations in key sectors, has built and mentored communications teams, and taken deep dives into digital media while leading a digital communications group serving global brands. He has an entrepreneurial perspective gained through founding and developing a tech industry focused marketing and public relations agency that was acquired by BBDO/Omnicom. Kevin also plays bass in an 80s band, accidentally won a Gemini award, and once made violins.
| Anneke Bruinsma-Findlay, Project ManagerA long-time space enthusiast, Anneke joined the CSCA in 2016 while she was an articling student at a top international law firm. Now a lawyer, Anneke is passionate about supporting entrepreneurs in the space and satellite sectors by providing innovative corporate and commercial legal services. Having studied and worked abroad for several years, Anneke is especially interested in fostering cross-border collaboration on commercial space initiatives, and promoting global industry growth. She works to support the initiatives of the Association, particularly in policy and law. She is on the organizing and technical committee of the Canadian SmallSat Symposium.

|Sally Clelford, Chief Administrative Officer, CSCA / President & CEO, Face 2 Face
Sally has earned her reputation as an innovator in business with over 24 years of experience with associations and events. Sally launched Face 2 Face 12 years ago and has worked with organizations and firms across the country to develop and improve their core operations and events. Working in partnership with a multitude of industries, Sally has developed her expertise in communications, project management, operations management and events management. With a strong knowledge of communities of practice, Sally is able to collaborate with organizations to recommend and implement effective innovations to enhance the organizations mission and objectives, as well as ensuring that the events that are hosted by the organizations are of the highest quality. Sally loves the movies! She has also worked in the film and entertainment industry for over 30 years as an actor (and most recently a producer). Sally was the President of the local branch for the actor’s union (ACTRA) for 6 years and also sat on the board of directors for the Canada Dance Festival.Email: email@example.com
|Vicki Price, Project Manager
Vicki has developed her skills over 15 years of experience in project management having worked in a variety of sectors such as law, health, event, human resources and high tech. Vicki has worked with many organizations to assist in improving their internal systems and processes, was a key leader in the planning and execution of the Ottawa Home Show for many years (a complex event that brought together over 10,000 visitors and 500+ exhibitors), and has worked with and coordinated large-scale projects for organizations who’s projects and high tech initiatives span the globe. Jeff is a Certified General Accountant with over 20 years experience having worked in a variety of fields such as high tech, event management, restaurant and retail industries. Jeff has implemented rigorous, highly effective accounting practices and controls that ensure the transparency and efficacy for proper financial management. Jeff works closely with our partnering clients to ensure that their financial accounting systems are designed as optimally as possible to meet their accounting needs. |Nikki Mosca, Event Planner
Nikki is an event planner with over 4 years experience working in events, project management and software systems. Having managed small to large scale events, Nikki is responsible for planning and executing many of the activities for the conferences managed by F2F. With a strong proficiency in software and a keen eye for design, Nikki is able to develop and execute the activities necessary to run a successful event. Tammy has over 20 years experience working in the events and project management field. Tammy brings with her a wealth of knowledge from various sectors, including health, municipal recreation, festivals, and charitable organizations. Tammy is responsible for the day to day operations at the F2F office that supports the many organizations we partner with across the country. Tammy works closely with the entire team and our clients to provide support where required.
