The CSCA organizes one national conference each March for our members with a full day program covering the Canadian commercial space systems industry plus contributes to a variety of other space focused conferences and events. Upcoming national events include the following:
- The 2012 CSCA National Conference (March 28th, 2012 in Ottawa, ON) which will focus on “Our Critical Canadian Space Infrastructure.”
Past events have included:
- The 2008 CSCA Accelerating Space Conference (January 26th, 2008 in Toronto, ON) which discussed “New Ideas for the Entrepreneurial Space Industry.”
- The 2008 Canadian Space Summit (November 21st – 23rd, 2008 in Montreal, PQ) which asked “What’s Next in Space for Canada?” CSCA treasurer Chuck Black chaired the commercial space sessions at this Canadian Space Society event.
- The 2009 CSCA Canadian Newspace Conference (March 19th, 2009 in Toronto, ON) which focused on “Domestic and International Opportunities for 2009 and Beyond.”
- The 2009 Canadian Space Summit (November 20th – 22nd, 2009 in Kingston, ON) which assessed “Multi-Use missions: Opportunities for collaboration on space technologies.” CSCA President Arny Sokoloff chaired the commercial space sessions at this Canadian Space Society event.
- The 2010 CSCA Conference and Annual General Meeting (March 17th, 2010 in Toronto, ON) which highlighted “the growing Canadian Commercial Space Sector.”
- The 2010 Canadian Space Summit (November 18th – 20th, 2010 in Ottawa, ON). CSCA Director Marc Boucher chaired the commercial space sessions at this Canadian Space Society event.
- The 2011 CSCA Conference and Annual General Meeting (March 18th, 2011 in Toronto, ON) which assessed “the Next Breakthrough Space Technologies for Canada.”
- The 2011 Canadian Space Summit (November 23rd – 25th, 2011 in Calgary, AB) focused on the challenges and opportunities surrounding “Big Data from Space and Earth.” CSCA Director Farnaz Ghadaki chaired the commerce and commercialization session at this Canadian Space Society event.
